In June this year(2007) in singapore, a temple containing Lord Buddha’s relic was thrown open to public by Singaporean PM Mr Nathan. The relic that is preserved there was believed to that of lord’s lower Third Molar teeth of left handside. The temple has 27kg gold wrapped around it and in lords statue and it itself is an architecture marvel. Its construction work which is a mix of ancient and contemporary took lot of efforts and consumed lot of financial resource.But a dentist team led by Dr Pamela craig after studying the tooth have now reached a conclusion that this relic is not even a human tooth???????
